Please report all breakages and faults so that we can rectify them for other users. We reserve the right to charge for damage, breakages and vandalism.

Insurance

The Village Hall carries public liability insurance but if you are operating a commercial event you must have your own cover and by agreeing to the terms you accept that you do, or will, at the time of the event.

Health & Safety

You are responsible for the Health & Safety of participants at your event. You should consider whether you need to complete a risk assessment for your event (the HSE has excellent advice, templates and examples here - https://www.hse.gov.uk/simple-health-safety/risk/risk-assessment-template-and-examples.htm)

Flecknoe Village Hall publishes its latest Risk Assessment and Fire Risk Assessment below. You are responsible for complying with them.

The Village Hall and its grounds are a no smoking area.

You are responsible for removing any waste. There are wheelie bins on site for recycling and general waste (Rugby Council waste website)

Naked flames (e.g candles) are not permitted in the Village Hall.

Parking

We have a small car park to the rear of the hall plus a drive to the side. Please feel free to make maximum use of this space during your hire. Due to the construction of the village hall there is a weight limit for individual vehicles of 3t within the grounds of the village hall

Neighbours

Please be considerate to our neighbours. This is a quiet rural village so please make sure that you, your visitors and guests park safely and respectfully and think about noise levels, especially outdoors and late in the evenings.
